In the 70's and 80's where i farmed it was WGN radio out of Chicago.
They would report the CBOT opening prices and closing prices and had the Noon Show that was an hour long program dedicated to mostly Midwest AG.
Of course you could always call local elevators.
When the 90's came I bought the satellite and box from DTN.
