Southern Missouri
I’ve put it on here many times, you can stand on my grain system and turn 360 degrees , every acre you can see is 100 percent irrigated ,every acre not just circles ,and you’ll not see one single center pivot ,if your water supply is big enough , the gpm will be determined by how big of pump you buy, if your field is not precision leveled,(every acre around here is ) typical 40 acre setting here take 12 hours , 24 hours to water an 80, most all pumps here are 2 to 3 thousand gallon a minute, if not precision leveled it’ll have spots with more and less fall and the water will move at a different pace in those areas . Every crop around here is planted on a tall bed , keeps irrigation water from getting anything too wet ,even if it rains while you’re pumping . My dad put his first field to grade in 1962 ,laser controlled scrapers came in here in 1979, what few pivots that were ever sold around here were torn down and hauled off.

As far as easy , once the 15 inch flexible tubing is laid out here , all we do is push a button, no flats ,no tracks in the field , nothing to get stuck ,no gearboxes to go out , no nozzles , no dry corners ,two men can lay out 2000 acres of flexible tubing a day here easy , our tubing layout machine holds 16 rolls that run a quarter of a mile ,typically covering 40 acres, beer bottle in the pic is setting on the 15 inch tubing with the pump on pushing water down the middles , when pump is off that tubing lays flat down on the ground
