Southeast WI | People as a whole tend to overestimate how good the good times are thus thinking they will never end. Costs always follow profits and commodity crops are low return long term. So just pay down debt in the good years, buy what you really need for equipment and you will weather the down turns. Really not an issue being a bad farmer just maybe not a great allocator of resources sometimes. That can get you in some trouble. | |
