and the manager who achieved those results is still managing it. I look for the funds that have been great owls over the last 20 years.
Follow the manager and not the fund has been a successful part of my strategy over the years. The fund performance of an actively managed fund is manager dependent. I also watch for how much of the fund's holdings are to track the market (not itself a bad thing) within a managed fund. There are cheaper ways to track indices.
