Is not the government involved in other energy entities such as petrolium and nuclear ? Both heavily subsidized my the government. As for grazing sheep. It is allowable under a seperate agreement. Several locals have expressed interest, not me.
An oil well is may be a 10 acres pad at most that extracts oil from a few miles with directional wells, up to or more than a section wide. They only want and lease the pad area and the layer a few miles under ground, not the entire section area. |
