I am reminded of the Chris Farley snl skit, it's hard to hold a steady job when you are living in a van down by the river.
When one thinks further (and seriously) about it, homeless people don't have ready access to wahing/bathing facilities. How easy would it be to work in food service when you wear dirty clothes and you smell bad?
If I was in that situation Id be at the truck stop asking if I could swipe my rewards card before someone pays for their fuel. exactly zero dollars out of their pocket,and I'd get enough points to pay for a shower.
Im sure Pilot corporate policy instructs managers to call the police if they see anything like this occuring, so that probably explains why we dont see more of it. |
