Ft. Ripley MN | I’m fine with the cattle market… we are making money.. I don’t understand why folks need to be greedy and beg for more. I would rather inject longevity into this market instead of higher prices….
Don’t have a heated shop… every winter I get pissed and say I need to build one. Have fought frozen waters… tractors that don’t start… cold weather calving… wasn’t but a decade ago prices were less and going back even less… still got up and did the job because we are supposed to be care takers.
I’ll say it again.. quit being greedy, at this moment we are making money let’s appreciate it. Stability will be better than chasing the high. You have to remember the paper traders only make money if the market moves… we as producers and feeders need steady.
