| Yes to all your questions. 2-10% of your investment should be in precious metal class, as a long term investment. If you are a short term trader, Gold has become more volatile. Silver is more volatile than Gold.
IF you want to stay away from leverage, there is PSLV(silver) and PHYS(gold) that hold the physical. Doesn't match exactly(some on this forum had a bad experience), but then would be away from paper ETF's.
If you want to learn, there is Kitco.com . But be careful, I remember someone that was interviewed(video) multiple times, had a bitcoin ponzi scheme. I didn't invest, but sure sounded convincing! | |
