We have a 72 with 1693 and 501k original miles. 79 has a 3406 and factory walk in flattop 60" sleeper on 8 bag air ride, it had a 15 speed with od against the dash but I switched it to a 13 speed a few years ago. The leg room is definitely a concern on those older trucks, if we drove our 79 more id be tempted to do a pete big home conversion
72 a w900a as well? Sounds awesome!
Even though the a is tight I can cock my leg and get by. Another friend has a 85 w900b and boy it just doesn't fit me well at all, seems the throttle is half under me. |
