Agree that the spread on land vs payback is as large as I’ve ever seen.
Had a chance to buy some land that bordered us this past summer. Didn’t make financial sense but I had seen it sell in the past 40 years, wasn’t going to let it get away again.
Paid 5-10 times what it brought 25-40 years ago.
In 10 years you may have wished you had followed your heart. Time will tell.
That is a pretty big swing, timeframe and also a big swing, $ wise…..to tell me anything. Don’t mean to be harsh but just too wide of ranges.
