Subject: RE: Selling Sons 40 fat pigs on Facebook

King City, Mo
We do beef and have sold 1/2 and wholes as well as all the legal paperwork where we can retail packaged frozen beef at the farm.

The selling a full or 1/2 animal is a headache for a beef and a hog will be worse as less $$$ per animal and same conversations and shuffling animals around for each sale.

January is a poor time to market as most family's are low on funds from xmas and property taxes due.

February and march/april were better.

As for facebook marketing...... peta owns a bunch of facebook stock and has the pull to get animal sales banned. You can list them as looking for a new "forever home" or "rehoming fee of $$$"

We struggle even selling chicken eggs as fb considers an egg an animal (same liberals think a baby in the belly isn't a person but that's a diff discussion) so we use the term "butt nuggets" to advertise eggs.

Sometimes they just remove your post. Worse case scenario your facebook account gets a 3 or 30 day ban, been there, done that, and even got a 90 and 120 day bans before as i'm a repeat offender of things apparently...... it's just slaps on the wrist where they don't allow you to post in groups, or sometimes on your page, cannot reply to comments or like peoples comments. It's like a little kid getting mad at another little kid and taking his toys away and saying the other kid can't play with them because he's upset. It's facebook's sandbox so they get to make the rules.........
