Subject: Snowy December meaning wet spring

Im in southeast iowa and normally don't get much snow in the month of December. Normally it will be rain/ sometimes freezing rain or a small amount of snow.I have had 16" so this December. Its in the top 5 for snowiest at local weather station. The other years ar 1977, 1989, 2000, 1974. 77, 89,and 00 where all dry falls just like this year. 1978, 1990, and 2001 where all wet to very wet springs. I don't remember 1975 spring that well but makes me wonder if history is correct, 2026 spring might be a wet one.
