It works.
My sister got one for our mother several years ago. She was independent enough to stay alone during the days at that time. But she had fallen and was having trouble getting up even when not hurt.
It worked once. Some one of us kids is always around the farm, but if we were not it was configured to call 911 dispatch. Mama has declined quickly and has help full time now, so no need for the watch.
Yesterday morning I got a notification that the sister had fallen. I’m 45 minutes away so I called and checked on her. She answered immediately and yes she had fallen on her back steps but was ok. She was able to head off the 911 call.
It does require internet access I think. Or maybe it just works best with it vs just a cell signal?
