I ran a lot of BKT in Hawaii; they lasted quite well and had good traction. Where they didn't hold up so well was when my self proclaimed expert driver turned too short and tore the sidewall out with the disc. Just to be certain it wasn't an isolated incident, he did it two more times. The third time was the charm and he went on to pursue other career opportunities.
