To add to this some filters are located where we just can’t get a good enough grip to even come close to tightening it enough. I usually use a filter wrench to go another 1/8” to 1/4” tighter after hand tightening depending on filter size.

It would help if some of those filters were an inch longer, some are even hard to tighten with a band style filter wrench, too much stuff in the way, can't get much "swing" with the wrench. |
Ugh tighten your filters.
