I’ll apologize to you too, Russ. I respect you and DB. Sorry for being so judgmental.

Another thing that has effected me, in a bad way was my dads food choices. In my mind he shortened up his life by terrible eating habits. He died from pancreatic cancer several years ago. A leading contributor to that is sugar…..copious amounts of sugar. Would be nothing for him to go thru a 12 pack of dew, almost by himself in a day. Breakfast was something sweet. A candy bar if going anywhere for farm supplies. Always a bag of candy around.

Looking at pics he really put on even more weight after I was on my own. And then cancer diagnosed just a few years before what should’ve been some retirement years. My mom has been alone for almost 20 years now.

You can tell this affects me to this day. I suppose when I say push yourself away from the table….that is me being bitter that my dad couldn’t do it.
