T-rowe - 12/13/2025 23:30 ^^^ biggest problem young people have is dealing with boomers that are afraid of change.

Biggest problems young guys wanting to run cows face is the cost of pasture and replacing junk fence.

Anything that could possibly be farmed is priced against row crops, crop insurance and govt subsidies.   Of what is left, anything that could possibly be a private hunting preserve is priced against that and CRP.    Then to top it all off, 90% of pasture fence older than 10 years old is complete junk.

And those are the same problems they've faced for the past 20+ years only its continually getting worse with more govt handouts and fences that are continually getting older.
