Long hood a model with a 3408 or kt is what American dreams are made of, we have a 79 a model, im a pete guy all day long but you cant beat an a model

I'm 6'4" so the legroom sucks in an A model, but as far as Iconic look they are pretty hard to beat.

I drug home a 1693 cat powered 74 352 for my personal collection, it is an original wheelbase tractor on original Pete air leaf, but they took the 5th wheel off and put a tiny 16' bed and hoist on it, that will be stripped off and it put back to a tractor, I have a 73 Timpte factory air ride trailer I plan to mate to it. I might go play with the rgn a little bur with terrible mpg I doubt it will get out too much.

The friend who has the 3408s also has a 73? W900a standard hood with a 1693 and that truck made me fall in love with that engine and I knew I eventually had to have one of my own. He's limited it in the rotation because he keeps breaking driveshafts. Previous owner stretched it and it has like 4 carrier bearings and I feel something isn't right in the geometry. He broke it like 10 times over his ownership and I was undefeated until I broke it once myself a couple years ago.
