I’m seasonal… only way someone is going to crush gravel year round is move south. Thanksgiving is kinda a good time to call it for the season. After this you need it to run around the clock. By the time you warm belts, heat oil you just lose to much production. 12 hours a day honestly isn’t worth my time to show up… I’ve done split shift a few times.. I’ll be back in the spring. I guess it’s a blessing, I do calve the cows out while I’m laid off

Have a company an hour away that’s one of the biggest aggregate producers in the country. They travel west and south to go year round. I work for an asphalt company

An average 40 hour a week job is 1950 hours for the year…
