Reduced/no-till is part of the reason waterhemp has gotten so prevalent, alongside overuse of certain chemistries. Which ties back to no-till/min-till. While deep plowing doesn't totally eradicate it, it does significantly cut back the population to the point it's way more manageable with less herbicide dependece
