I know how that feels. Some guys broke into my house last week looking for money. I got out of bed to help them look.
Seriously though, it’s not as bad now as when I was a kid. Back in ‘88 it got so bad Mom couldn’t afford any food. She got to passing around recipe cards at dinner time so we could read those and imagine the food. My kid brother was only 4 and couldn’t read. He almost starved to death.
