Neighbor just got this pickup in a swap. 400 engine, factory ac but has been disabled. New thermostat (checked to make sure of function in stove), fresh water pump, removed the vacuum valve in heater hose going to firewall. Engine warms up to 180F on added gauge, but once driving heat in cab peters out. Mechanical blend door moves as it should. Ideas…?
