Subject: I remember a time when I WAS fat

Pittsburg, Kansas
I was 7 years ago. Was 265#

I lost a hundred pounds in the following year. Got down to 165.

I'm about 185 now at 6' 2".

What did I do? Cut out all food made of sugar, grains and carbohydrate rich foods plus cut out all vegetable oils and margarine.

Turned my life completely around health wise.

Went from diabetic at four shots a day insulin totaling 100 units to zero insulin and zero other prescriptions. I now test pre-diabetes. No longer test diabetic.

No more knee & back pain. Neuropathy developing in feet. Gone. A whole list of other health improvements. Couldn't do but a few pushups. Do 25 now. Couldn't do a single pullup. Do 10-12 now. Couldn't run. Do short sprints now several times a week.

I'm 71 and in better health than when 61. All by simply changing what I put, or more specifically, what I don't put in my mouth.

Low carb ketogenic lifestyle did it for me and also my wife. 7 years ago come February of next year. Gave us our lives back.
