WCIL | What mileage did you have when you did the camshaft? We bought a used 2020 T680 last year with 300k on it now. Has major engine warranty for another year. Had 3 salesmen recommend having inspection done during warranty and claimed several trucks got new engines (was kind of a selling point). Didn't give me much confidence in the longevity but some earlier model years have 7 year warranty and later ones 5 or 6 years, which shows Paccar must stand behind them. Service manager recommended an oil sample so plan to do a couple of those in the coming year before warranty expires. Just hauling our own grain local so will probably only put 100k on while we own it. | |
