Allowing individual tracts to be insured creates a lot of fraud, allows collecting on some parcels even in record years by moving crops from one parcel to another.


I don't think someone playing that game is really getting ahead. If you use entrrprise units you can save a massive amount on premium and up your % coverage at the same time so that crop insurance is the tool that is working to guarantee a baseline income that covers most current expenses. Playing around with optional units is fraudulent and short sighted and in the end damage operations more than it helps. That is beside the fact that if they have the mindset to cheat, so many other catastrophes are awaiting them in their lives.

Some seem almost jealous of others that they perceive are breaking the rules. What do you actually know, why are you fixated on what you perceive, and are you happy with your honestly earned progress.....or would you desire to change places with a thief?
