I had it done with just a local dose of lidocaine to freeze hand. Couple little cuts and done. Took longer to freeze it than do it. Was back driving tractor that day. Back to 80-90% in 3-4 days. I had a good surgeon. I have friends that had a much longer recovery. Ask around before you go
