Guys not a salesman if you can offend him. But you have to be willing to walk away. Be polite and firm on what you’re offering and get up and walk away if it’s not going your way.
Walk in with your financing lined up at your bank. Answer nothing about “what do you want to pay a month”. Tell them it’s a cash deal and the best tactic ive ever used was know what vehicle you want when you walk in and tell the salesman you have x dollars and no more. He will do it if he can. But you better not need it that bad if he can’t, you gotta leave or you’re a liar!
I know a guy that sent 3 buddies into a dealer in the week before. That all drove and low balled salesman on a used truck. He got it bought for what he wanted. The lowballs better be 3/4 asking because they might take one of its not too low. | |
