Postville Iowa | I have a 2017 and a 2019 Paccar. The 2019 had to put a camshaft in, it was way out of warranty and didn’t cost me a dime to fix. Both trucks have close to 700,000 on them. One has a 10 speed auto shift and one has a 12 speed auto shift. Haven’t had any trouble with transmission. A trucking company in my town had all Paccar then switched to Cummins. All the Cummins had to be overhauled with less than 300,000 because of bad pistons. Both kinds have there problems.
One reason used Paccar are cheaper is because they are cheaper than a Cummins when new. Paccar would rather sell you a Paccar. | |
