Every time I've tried to bargain by offering a lower price than they are asking, they look at me like I have 2 heads. Some salesman even get offended if I offer less. Some get down right rude. I've been asked if I try and offer less for a gallon of gasoline.

I had a salesman once ask me the same thing, if I would offer less for a gallon of gasoline.
I told him that if I thought the station I was at was charging too much, I'd go to the one down the street, and got up to leave.
Before I got to the door, the salesman who wasn't willing to negotiate suddenly decided to throw me a number lower than the original asking price. |
