Southeast Colorado
Not that I want to make fun of Texans.........but have you ever been down in their cotton country? I'm sure they're not just stupid, but when you see those massive fields with deep furrows and no residue........one really has to wonder. I'm sure just growing continuous cotton has financially worked there for ages...........but it's tough to look at, at times. Especially when the sky turns brown every time the wind blows. That'll happen here from time to time as well............but it's primarily when we go calendar years without precip. And the residue we've tried to keep has finally broken down and blown away.
