Interesting you ask. I farm with my dad, 5 brothers, one brother in law and a couple hired hands. We also have a Massey 8s305 that we feed cows with. Everyone was complaining about how difficult each of the other tractors were based on what they were used to. 2 of my brothers were like it is a space ship in those new Fendt tractors, but that is because they feed cows with the Massey. It’s just because they have not spent hardly any time in the new Fendts.

When we got the first 2 I was nervous/skeptical/intimated about the new layout, I personally wished I could have just bought new G6 tractors at the time. After having a good lesson from the brother in law who was selling them at another dealership over FaceTime, the brother and I that would be driving them most got off the phone with him both made the same comment. These are better than the G6. If you plan on purchasing a G7 I would find someone who knows them and get a lesson from them. So much easier to use in my opinion than the G6. They are just intimidating because of the customization you are able to do. We have profiles built now for each of the implements so now we just hook up and open the profile associated with said implements and go to work.

After running the G7 for one fall, I got into the G6 to do some tillage and felt like a fish out of water. I wanted the G7 back.
