All i hear from NDSU soil people (Wick, Franzen, etc.) is that tillage is the devil and if you don't no-till and/or cover crop, you're a poor farmer


Purdue agriculture says to use the appropriate tool in the appropriate place as much as reasonably possible but state there is not a "one thing fits all" solution.

NDSU has citied their studies quite a bit, so I honestly don't know why they're still preaching no till or death. Then again in the 30s they preached moldboard and one way everything.
