South Texas | New-to-me 125 acres in S Texas. 100 in Bermuda grass, rest needs sprigged in 2026. Back in a different lifetime, I always sent soil samples to nearest Ag University. Getting pricey (no surprise). Handheld electronic probes are available from internet and connect to my iPhone. They read moisture, temp, pH, EC, NPK, salinity and such. One-time $125 or so looks tempting. Would still need some actual sampling and testing for micros and for quality control, I'd assume. Any comments on either choice would be welcome. Thanks. Stetts
