Milford, IL | The founders didn't specify retirees were to receive free health care for life, and the constitution didn't define retiree benefit plans.
Im not faulting the retirees for accepting the deal - most know a good deal when presented. Hard to reduce those benefits, undoubtedly some have no other means of income. Now everybody is in a pickle - including the current USPS labor force who want to do a job in the midst of a turd-storm of reduced revenue and incresased operating expenses - while Amazon and UPS and FedEX blow them away in terms of delivery performance. | |
