Jamestown, ND | Like the previous response stated, disputes get settled through a licensed grain inspection service. I would assume that the grader made a mistake when sampling or entering the information on your ticket. Did a TW grade get inputted wrong? Most of the grain buyers do have samples and it should be easily rectifiable. If they don’t have a saved sample, then the dispute is on them and they technically are non compliant.
Have had this happen to me with having to get grain inspection involved on disputed grain moistures and a high value contract in a declining market. Funny how that happens…. My dispute ended in my favor but took about 3 to 4 business days for a manager to call and resolve the issue. Mistakes happen.
