If usda is going to subsidize farmers, doesn’t it make more sense to only subsidize those doing a good job? Personally I wish FSA didn’t exist. I do think NRCS does some good things in my county.
Those that want to do a good job should do a good job without government cash. If it actually is a good idea and a good job it should pay its own way. Having the government pick the definition of a good job is asinine. To top it off, often the guy already doing a 'good job' doesn't qualify for the free money because it isn't a new practice to him. Talk about back assward. |
