On the crop insurance (which let's get rid of the subsidy).... it will have the opposite effect than what the whiners on agtalk think. Old guys like me can weather the good and bad, so my operation will only grow. It is the highly leveraged farms and smaller farms that would be hurt the worst. If you want that, let's get after it. But....most of you want the government to pick winners and losers. Punish the successful and help the less so. | |
