There’s a guy here do regenerative grazing with sheep in the solar farms. Pretty cool system. The problem is when they come in and remove them they will undo it. I’d bet money it takes a few years to get it back to where it is now.

I turned back a farm this year that was in CRP for 30 years, my dad farmed it when I was a kid. Dad told me don’t do it, but I thought man it’s been in grass 30 years the soil should be alive. Dad was right. My records showed I farmed that for 3 years and made zero dollars before counting wear and tear. Soil sample before I started was .2 OM, after 3 years of conventional tillage grazing cattle on wheat I was at .4 OM.
