NWC Ohio | 20 tons yes, single application in a single year.
Done 30, 40, and 60 in spots as well.
Moldboard plow it in is preferred, but last few times it’s been a mix of chisel plow, disc chisels, and parabolic shank rippers.
My preference is moldboard plow in on wheat stubble. Run a deep ripper as soon after as next crop possible.
Those are estimated dry tons as well, not wet tons applied. Outside pile, settling pond, inside press, mixture of above will certainly affect the moisture content and conversions from wet tons to dry tons. Just watch the inbound lime spec sheets (what they haul into the plant to use) and compare to the lime analysis sheet of the product you’re getting for comparisons.
