Kingdom of Callaway - Fulton, Mo 65251 | Those are my favorite flavor! I can't eat those new Red Hot ones.
Yes, we are related. But my whole life when asked if i was related, I would add that i don't get free chips. But now I do! For the last six months we have been feeding the potato waste from there. Very good starch for the ration, but it has a lot of salt from the seasoning.
The original founder was Earnest Backer. His grandfather and my great-great grandfather were brothers. Callaway county kinda has a couple unofficial lines of Backers. One is the potato chip folks. Another one is my branch which have all been farmers, teamsters, and mailmen. Then there is a branch that moved back to the St. Louis area in the late 1800's. We stumbled upon them a few years ago and reconnected some.
None of us are anything to write home about, but we tend to be hard workers, and keep our noses clean!
My great grandfather is the gent with the mustache in the middle of the first row. He had a horse and wagon drayage (hauling) business here in Fulton.
