Subject: RE: NH 195 apron chain broke yesterday

$38,000 just shy of 3 years ago. I have 667x in mine and have tightened the chains a few times. It seems like the outside chains are stretching more than the inside ones. I have heard of people switching sides to put the center links to the outside. Worth the trouble? We had a silage wagon with T-bar chain in it that never gave any trouble, also had a manure spreader truck with T-bar that the 195 replaced. Truck needed work, and the apron and sprockets were shot. To the point it would break nearly unloaded or unloaded. I don't envy anyone shoveling off a busted manure spreader! T-bar seems like it's easier to remove links than 667x. That's the first I've seen of them changing the design, looks like the same spreader just different color and name? The brochure page on the website still lists the 100 series, doesn't show the Durabox. Mine was delivered late February was at the dealer just long enough to be put together, seems like I was told they build spreaders around the first of the year?
