Holland, Indiana (SW IN) | Seems extremely low
I don't need to even run the numbers that's not worth it
But figuring potash at $400 per ton 1200 pounds of actual about 33 cents a pound 2 pounds a ton is 66 cents
Dap is about $800 get 920 pound of phosphate per ton about 87 cents a pound 8 pounds a ton is about $7.00
put what ever value on the 7 pound of n I'll say about 75 cents a pound of actual = about $5
total NPK value about $13
Heck might be as well spread horse manure -
old saying "better to spread corn cobs that a pig has farted on than horse ****"
Dan
Add when we last spread chicken litter 50-50-50 was guaranteed per ton as spread (meaning wet basis)
