South Dakota | For a 4H project my son bought 40 50 pound feeder pigs. They are getting big and will be marketed in Jan- February We were told they can be sold on Facebook if you reword it correctly. I think this is going to be harder than I thought. I know it will be hard getting them all butchered in separate stores for people.
Does anyone have ideas on marketing these pigs and how to word the Facebook market ads. I know Pipestone, MN has a weekly market at .54/ pd. That won’t cover the costs. I was told I could get .85 for these premium market animals if I sell them to individuals.
