Tools like this work really well with tabular and text info, like trial results. 
But they're not great (still) in any kind of geospatial / math questions (Variable rate, limiting factors, etc.).
To connect "brain" of chatgpt / claude and data of your farm we at GeoPard released MCP server (MCP is a special protocol that is used to be connected to chatgpt and other models). Then you can really talk in chatgpt and use data from your fields. See some examples at our docs portal:
