20 miles west of Indianapolis Indiana

toolman4 - 12/9/2025 20:54 We had a pretty good yield environment this year and was expecting more out of the enlist soybeans. Planted early, good fertility and ph, low disease, pretty clean fields and 110000 final stand in 15" rows. Did your xtend flex soybeans have more top end yield? What has been the biggest boost to increasing your soybean yields.
My best yielding bean was an Enlist. My 2nd highest yielding bean was xtendflex. My worst yielding bean was an Enlist. My 2nd from the bottom yielding bean was an xtendflex. My advice: try a new variety on small acres/small plot. Avoiding a crappy variety would obviously increase my bean yields….

i'm glad to see someone like you (i think your a no BS'er) post this. there are times i harvest a field of enlist beans and they aren't great and i wonder if i'm on the wrong side. to be honest i'd knowingly give up and bushel or two or three to plant enlist over dicamba beans. but after that i think i'm being beyond foolish... every fall i harvest at least one and worry.
i would like to try some viconic beans when they come out to use the callisto on my burr cucumber acres late though....
