E ND | So how much can you buy/store at a time? Storage issue? Is that the constraint stopping you from grinding a whole beef into burger? Charity is expensive if you have to source @ retail with no break in pricing or volume deals. Might be better long term to fundraise for a commercial deep freeze that would allow you to source protein cheaper in volume in the future.
Do you have cattlemen in the congregation? Seems like all producers run into an animal issue at the wrong time that means a quick on-farm slaughter that they don't always have room for - accident, broken leg, etc. Could be a good partnership for a donation that helps both parties if you can get the word out in the area. Always get a broken leg right after you picked up a beef it seems like.
