We had a pretty good yield environment this year and was expecting more out of the enlist soybeans. Planted early, good fertility and ph, low disease, pretty clean fields and 110000 final stand in 15" rows. Did your xtend flex soybeans have more top end yield? What has been the biggest boost to increasing your soybean yields.
My best yielding bean was an Enlist. My 2nd highest yielding bean was xtendflex.
My worst yielding bean was an Enlist. My 2nd from the bottom yielding bean was an xtendflex.
My advice: try a new variety on small acres/small plot. Avoiding a crappy variety would obviously increase my bean yields….
