Subject: RE: Brevant vs pioneer?

West Central Indiana
Way I understand it is pioneer picks corn hybrids that go east to west coast and hybrids that are available in only all 3 trait packages. Brevant is sold thru the retailers/co-ops. Dairyland and other regional companies are mainly farmer dealers. Similar genetics (Corteva)probably similar programs. Etc.
Just from my experience the smaller regional companies can yield just as well or better.
Since I’m a farmer dealer, I prefer buying from someone that plants what they’re selling. Most farmer dealers get a look at new products a year before they’re released. Which helps me get the best lineup for myself and others.
