Subject: Gas to Diesel Transition for Hay

SW Iowa
Currently have a decent gas pickup for a daily beater with a bale bumper for hay hauling (2013 Ford F-250) and a diesel for a towing/long trip vehicle (2016 Ram 2500). Without getting into the weeds, I am looking at needing to move the ram to daily duty and replacing the towing truck with another diesel. My question is for those with a similar "beater truck and towing truck" setup, would you ever go to having both pickups as a diesel, and for those who do currently operate that way, do you ever regret it? I love having the reliability of the gas pickup, cheap parts, warms up quickly, and can still tow when needed. I wouldn't mind having the same towing power in the daily, but I do still need the reliability to haul hay to cows for part of the winter.
