I would not use that style of feeder. Just not enough capacity to them and they're not the most durable feeder out there. As Kooiker said. Get a wet dry feeder. As for the gates I don't like the plastic on the bottom. To hard to get clean and the hogs will eventually break it. If you want a ss gate get ones will full ss rods.
